Realme has unveiled a new smartphone in its existing Narzo 80 series, the Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G. The company’s new smartphone is designed for budget-conscious consumers in mind, bringing a decent set of features at an affordable price point. It’s worth noting that the smartphone is actually a rebranded version of the Realme C73, which was announced earlier this month in the market.
Design-wise, the Narzo 80 Lite 5G is the exact replica of the C73 5G, featuring the same rectangular-shaped dual rear camera setup at the back consisting of a 32 MP primary shooter with a GC32E2 sensor and an unspecified auxiliary sensor. Upfront, it has an 8 MP shooter (down from 32 MP of the C73 5G) for selfies and video chats.
Despite being an entry-level smartphone, Realme packs a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset into the Narzo 80 Lite 5G, which is paired with 4/6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage with room for storage expansion. As far as the software is concerned, the device runs Realme UI 6 based on Android 15 out of the box. However, there’s no word on software support from the brand.
Furthermore, Realme also packs the same display specs into the Narzo 80 Lite 5G. It features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display that outputs at a resolution of 1604 x 720 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 625 nits. Realme packs a large 6,000 mAh battery into this entry-level smartphone with support for 15 W wired charging. Plus, it also has reverse charging support.
Dimensionally, the device isn’t different from the C73 5G, measuring just 7.94 mm (0.31 inch) in thickness and weighing around 197 grams (0.43 lbs). Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, up to 12 GB of dynamic RAM support, super linear bottom-ported speakers, and dual 5G connectivity.
The Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G starts at INR 10,499 (~$121) for the base 4 GB + 128 GB model, and the 6 GB + 128 GB variant is priced at INR 11,499 (~$133). It comes in crystal purple and onyx black color options and will be available for sale starting from June 20 via Amazon and Realme’s official website.
