Honor Choice Watch will soon launch with a large AMOLED display, GPS, 5 ATM and 12 days of battery life
Honor has officially confirmed that the Honor Choice Haylou Watch will be officially launched on Thursday, February 15. Apart from information about price and availability, there are hardly any new details, as the manufacturer has already published a product page for the smartwatch.
The watch has a design that was obviously inspired by the Apple Watch. Honor also advertises that the case is waterproof to a depth of 5 ATM, so the Honor Choice Watch appears to be suitable for swimming. Accordingly, Honor includes workout modes for swimming and surfing. In total, the smartwatch supports 120 sports modes and can collect health data around the clock thanks to heart rate measurement and a SpO2 sensor.
Sleep, breathing and menstrual period tracking are also among the smartwatch's features. All collected data can be synchronized with the Honor Health app, which is offered for both Apple iPhone and Android smartphones. The watch has a 1.95-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 502 x 410 and a brightness of 550 nits.
Honor advertises a battery life of twelve days under normal use. Recharging takes place via a proprietary magnetic charging cable. The watch can control music playback and the camera of the connected smartphone and display weather forecasts. Over 100 user-configurable watch faces are provided. Products in the Honor "Choice" series are usually positioned as relatively inexpensive models, which is consistent with the plastic case of the watch that is said to have a metallic look and feel.
