According to the latest market research, Hisense led the market for 100-inch TVs in terms of shipments during 2023 and the first quarter of 2024. The OEM was also found to have shipped the second most TVs worldwide in general. Meanwhile, one of its most advanced mini-LED screens is now the official TV of the UEFA EURO 2024 championship.

The TV market is replete in household names such as LG, Sony and Samsung; however, Omdia's latest research has reportedly concluded that Hisense is now also leading name in this field, scoring 6.32 million unit shipments in the first quarter of 2024 (1Q2024) alone.

The OEM was also found to have made 12.1% of the TV space revenue for that quarter, with a 13.6% share of the market. Accordingly, Hisense now places 2nd in the global TV OEM rankings for 1Q2024, as it did for the whole of 2023.

Hisense also now has the greatest share of the 100-inch TV segment, according to the new report, and also holds the majority (53.4%) of the laser TV market thanks to devices such as the P series that currently starts at ~$2,000 on Amazon.

The OEM is also known for screens with advanced tech such as mini-LED, as found in the 120Hz AI Sports Mode-toting ULED U7N.

It has just been unveiled as the Official Television of UEFA's EURO 2024 soccer championship event, as part of a collaboration touted by Hisense to take you "to the very heart of the game".
