Reviews for the HP EliteBook X G1i 14 AI, Ultra 7 268V
Source: PC Mag

The EliteBook X G1i gives HP’s business lineup an efficiency boost, leveraging Intel’s Lunar Lake architecture for quick productivity speeds while maintaining impressive battery life. The laptop also delivers HP’s enterprise-level software and management tools, making the EliteBook X G1i an alluring choice for large companies. Of course, it all comes packaged in a sturdy chassis and business-friendly aesthetic. HP's list price might seem somewhat daunting—even some sale prices do—but that's probably a non-issue for corporate buyers, who will negotiate better rates. If you’re looking for a laptop built for businesspeople on the go, then the EliteBook X G1i is an excellent option. However, while the EliteBook X G1i leads many ultraportable work laptops in battery life, the AMD-based EliteBook X G1a delivers more power, whereas the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 strikes a better balance between the two.

Intel Arc 140V: A pretty fast integrated graphics adapter that higher-end Intel Lunar Lake family processors employ. This is a direct successor to the Arc 8; it can drive three SUHD 4320p monitors simultaneously via HDMI 2.1, eDP 1.5 and DP 2.1. With the 140V, all 2023 and 2024 games are playable at 1080p on low graphics settings.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Core Ultra 7 268V: A higher-end Lunar Lake family processor. It sports 4 new Skymont E-cores and 4 new Lion Cove P-cores running at up to 3.7 GHz and 5.0 GHz respectively, along with the new Arc 140V iGPU and 32 GB of on-package LPDDR5x-8533 RAM. It should be about as fast as the Core Ultra 7 165U and Core i7-1360P in multi-threaded workloads and it eats up to 37 W when under short-term workloads.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
