With AI being such an integral part of modern technology these days, it’s no surprise that the Vivobook S14 comes packed with a whole suite of AI tools powered by its NPU. These include Microsoft Copilot, an AI assistant that can be activated to provide basic tech and query support or be used to remember certain information to set deadlines, with the device also featuring a dedicated Copilot button on its keyboard for quick access. Apart from this, the device also comes with built-in AI technologies, including an AI noise-cancelling microphone and speaker to enhance everyday work processes like team meetings. These tools, as always when it comes to AI, are good to have, but certainly not required for most usage scenarios.

ASUS’s Vivobook S series has always aimed to bring high-end internals into a relatively affordable thin-and-light chassis. This year, the 14-inch Vivobook S14 (2025) gets a serious upgrade under the hood with Intel’s new Core Ultra 7 255H chip, while retaining the familiar lightweight design. On paper, it seems like a killer package for around ₹90,000, but does the real-world experience match the spec sheet?

Intel Arc 140V: A pretty fast integrated graphics adapter that higher-end Intel Lunar Lake family processors employ. This is a direct successor to the Arc 8; it can drive three SUHD 4320p monitors simultaneously via HDMI 2.1, eDP 1.5 and DP 2.1. With the 140V, all 2023 and 2024 games are playable at 1080p on low graphics settings.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Core Ultra 7 258V: An upper mid-range Lunar Lake family processor. It sports 4 new Skymont E-cores and 4 new Lion Cove P-cores running at up to 3.7 GHz and 4.8 GHz respectively, along with the new Arc 140V iGPU and 32 GB of on-package LPDDR5x-8533 RAM. It essentially matches the Core Ultra 7 165U and Core i7-1360P in multi-thread performance and it eats up to 37 W when under short-term workloads.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
