Xiaomi, last week, released yet another Android 10 update for the Mi A2 Lite after the disastrous rollout that bricked a multitude of phones. The company appears to be taking extra precautionary measures by limiting the rollout as much as possible, to prevent another debacle, but things now look to be picking up.
Going by user feedback on our forums, the Mi forums, and other boards, Xiaomi seems to have ramped up the rollout of the OTA. That means that it's now being sent out to more regions around the world, and most Mi A2 Lite users should be confirming receipt of the update by now.
The update comes with the software version "V11.0.4.0.QDLMIXM" and weighs in at 1.15 GB. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to have any phone-breaking bugs—which is why the rollout has been extended. However, some users have complained about Wi-Fi Direct not working, and Audio enhancement still being absent. In any case, this build is a lot better than the earlier ones.
Have you received V11.0.4.0.QDLMIXM on your Mi A2 Lite? Let us know in the comments below.
