It seems that Xiaomi has forgotten about updating its Android One handsets to Android 10. Instead, the Mi A2 Lite is following the Mi A3 in another underwhelming Android 9.0 Pie update. Understandably, people are not happy about it.
Rolling out to Global handsets now, V10.0.20.0.PDLMIXM only upgrades the Mi A2 Lite to the March security patch. If you have not received a notification to download V10.0.20.0.PDLMIXM on your handset, then you pick up the OTA or full recovery file from the associated hyperlinks. These are hosted on Xiaomi's servers, for reference.
Some people have had some strong words to see about the new update, too. Likewise, others have voiced their concern about downloading a new update considering the bugs that Xiaomi has been letting slip through into public builds of late. Either way, we suspect that Xiaomi will issue a fixed Android 10 build with the April security patch, but there is no guarantee of when this will arrive.
