Geekom XT12 Pro with Intel NUC 13 Pro-like design and Intel Core i9 becomes available for purchase
Geekom announced a brand-new Intel Alder Lake mini PC called XT12 Pro last month. One of the standouts of the compact computer is the chassis, which is of aluminum with sleek curves. But if you’ve seen enough of Intel NUC systems, you may notice that it looks pretty similar to the NUC 13 Pro.
Now, while Intel offered that mini PC with 13th Gen Core i7-1360P CPU, Geekom XT12 Pro steps one generation back but packs a more capable Intel Core i9-12900H processor. This 12th Gen processor features 14 cores and can deliver good overall performance across multiple tasks.
While there’s a decent iGPU, it can only do light gaming. But the XT12 Pro is geared towards productivity anyway. The mini PC can handle four 4K display outputs through the HDMI and USB 4 ports. Speaking of which, it has a generous port selection.
Among all, there are two USB 4 Gen 3, one USB 2.0 Type-A, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, and two HDMI 2.0. For wireless connectivity, it has WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. You can learn more about the I/O of the mini PC from the complete spec sheet attached at the end.
The Geekom XT12 Pro also has support for up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM running at dual channels, one M.2 PCIe Gen 4 slot with up to 2 TB support, and another M.2 with up to 1 TB of storage support. There’s also a robust cooling setup that the company calls IceBlast 1.0. It aims to make the 35W CPU offer a stable performance even in heavy loads.
As for the price, the XT12 Pro with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage is now available for purchase at $699 on Amazon. You can learn more about the mini PC from the test and review video attached below.
