Deal | Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition drops below $5 in limited time Steam sale
Amazon has just released the entire Fallout TV series season 1 on Prime Video. If you’ve enjoyed all the episodes, you might want to check out the franchise sale Bethesda is holding on Steam. All the games within the franchise are enjoying a massive discount, with the Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition being at $4.99 in the US. If you’re in other regions, such as South Asia, you can get it for less than $4. Note that this discount offer on the game ends on April 19.
The Ultimate Edition package has the base game with all the DLCs. It generally goes for $19.99 in the US. So, with this Steam sale in place, you’re basically scoring the total Fallout New Vegas package for 75% less. You can also get the 7-game bundle from Fanatical for $22.49 by using the promo code “OMEN10” during checkout. It has all the games of the franchise, including Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, plus the DLCs.
Getting back to Fallout New Vegas, it was released in 2010, and for many, it’s the game that they wanted Fallout 3 to be. While it’s subjective, the game is said to come with a better storyline and a gameplay that’s more challenging. The ratings on Steam say the same story, with the latter having a “Mostly Positive” overall rating while the first has “Overwhelmingly Positive.”
New Vegas also enjoys a good number of refinements over its predecessors, which enhances the overall gameplay. That includes a polished dialogue system and an improved companion system. Check out the trailer attached below to better understand what’s in store.
Also, as Fallout New Vegas is a relatively less hardware-demanding game, you can get a good experience in almost all modern systems. It will even run great on most handheld gaming PCs (ROG Ally Z1 Extreme curr. $599.99 on Best Buy).
