On April 18, the developers of Kingdom Come: Deliverance will unveil a new game. The well-known leaker Tom Henderson confirms the fans' suspicions - Kingdom Come: Deliverance is finally getting a sequel.

The medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance, developed by Warhorse Studios, was released in 2018. Despite its numerous bugs and challenging difficulty level, it is regarded by many fans as one of the best indie games of all time. This is evidenced by its strong Metacritic user score of 8.1. Six years after the release of the first game, a sequel appears to be imminent. Warhorse Studios announced on April 11 via X (formerly Twitter) that a new game will be unveiled on April 18.

As Warhorse Studios has not developed any games other than Kingdom Come, it is reasonable to assume that the recently announced unveiling will pertain to its successor. The X-post, depicting a rider on a horse, further suggests that the game will be set in the Middle Ages. Renowned leaker Tom Henderson has dismissed the possibility that the development studio might announce a different game. He confirmed on X: "This isn't wishful thinking, btw - It is Kingdom 2".

This is what Kingdom Come: Deliverance is all about

Set in medieval Bohemia, Kingdom Come: Deliverance follows the story of Henry, a blacksmith's son, whose village is devastated by a Cuman army. After witnessing the brutal murder of his parents, a vengeful Henry joins forces with Lord Radzig Kobyla, the local lord, to fight back against the invaders. This medieval RPG, played from a first-person perspective, features a complex combat system designed to authentically recreate swordplay. Additionally, the game includes survival elements, as Henry must eat and sleep to maintain his health. Quests in the game can be completed in various ways, requiring players to think strategically and adapt to different situations.
