Fun-filled indie game What The Car? gets a free Steam download
Triband, the developer known for What The Golf? and What The Bat? games, has announced that What The Car? is going to be released on Steam on September 5. As the name suggests, it's not your typical racing game. Instead, it's a more full-filled adventure indie title.
However, this isn't the game's first debut. It was first launched for Apple Arcade in May of last year. In case you didn't get a chance to play it on an Apple device, What The Car? is basically a physics game that lets you "be a car and explore the world." You race through a wide range of unique levels.
But you're not actually a regular car. Instead of wheels, you get legs, and throughout all the levels, you do everything that you can't do in a typical racing game. That includes jumping through obstacles, climbing buildings, flying with jetpacks, and many other fun-filled activities.
There are even some silly levels where you get to flip burgers, go fishing, and even sing karaoke. Basically, What The Car? isn't a serious game. It's more of an indie title that you play casually.
While the official release date is still months away, Triband has offered a free demo on Steam. You can download it right now to get a taste of what the game has to offer. Alternatively, you can just watch the newly launched trailer attached below to understand what this indie title is all about.
