Garmin releases major new update for recent LTE smartwatch

Garmin has released a new stable for one of its recent LTE-enabled smartwatches. To recap, the company issued Software Version 5.12 to the Bounce 2 (curr. $254.96 on Amazon) at the end of last year. However, the company does not provide beta updates like many of its other smartwatches.
Now, it has moved the same smartwatch up multiple software revisions to Software Version 16.23. Rolling out globally, Software Version 16.23 can be downloaded through the Garmin Jr. app. Currently, Garmin estimates that the new update has landed on 50% of Bounce 2 smartwatches. For those smartwatches that have been updated, Garmin claims to have added more activity animations and alarm sound options.
Moreover, Software Version 16.23 contains fixes for outstanding translation and predictive text issues. Also, Garmin states that the new update resolves a bug that caused incorrect multiplier values to show on the Most Daily Active Minutes record. As always, the company reports that it has included 'various' other bug fixes and improvements without elaborating further. Please see Garmin's forum post for more details.
