Garmin has started rolling out a new beta update for Fenix 7, Fenix 7S and Fenix 7X smartwatches. Also available for the Enduro 2, Epix 2, Quatix 7 and Marq 2 series, Beta Version 14.30 introduces over 20 changes with a focus on addressing outstanding bugs and issues.

Garmin has released a new update for Fenix 7, Enduro 2, Epix 2, Quatix 7 and Marq 2 smartwatches, roughly a week after a critical bug forced it to pull Beta Version 14.28. Originally, the company had hoped to release Beta Version 14.29 with a fix for the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi breaking issue that affected Beta Version 14.28. However, it has now jumped ahead to Beta Version 14.30, which is available to download now.

In a forum post, Garmin explains that it will only distribute Beta Version 14.30 through the smartwatch itself and not Garmin Mobile Connect (GCM) or Garmin Express. As such, you can determine whether Beta Version 14.30 is ready to download by heading to Menu, System, Software Update and then selecting Check For Updates. Please note that you must have already enrolled your device on Garmin's Public Beta Program for it to receive Beta Version 14.30, instructions for which it has provided in a dedicated wiki page.

According to Garmin, it has included 21 changes in Beta Version 14.30 from Beta Version 14.27. As far as we can tell, Beta Version 14.30 contains 14 of the same changes from Beta Version 14.27 as Beta Version 14.28 did, with 7 new bug fixes added. Additionally, the company has removed the processing improvements when deleting data and resetting settings that were designed to complete these processes faster. For reference, the full Beta Version 14.30 changelog is as follows:
