Garmin Public Version 13.19 and Beta Version 13.20 arrive for Instinct 2 and Instinct Crossover smartwatches
Garmin has released Public Update Version 13.19 and Beta Version 13.20 for the Instinct 2, Instinct 2S, Instinct 2X and Instinct Crossover smartwatches. Software v13.19 is now available for all wearables, adding a Gaming activity, Tides Glance and Workouts app to the watches. The update also fixes problems with the Bluetooth sensors, location names on maps and data discrepancies.
Version 13.20, available to those signed up for the Garmin Beta Program, resolves two customer issues relating to activities. Firstly, a bug which could cause the wearable to crash on the Gaming post activity pages has been addressed. Secondly, some users were not able to access the Tennis activity; this problem is now fixed.
The company notes that this update will not be automatically delivered to eligible smartwatches. Instead, customers must manually load the software, which can be downloaded here. Garmin warns Instinct smartwatch owners to ensure they have installed the latest Sensor Hub and GPS files, v25.60 and v6.70, before proceeding with the update. They also request that any bugs customers encounter be reported in the Beta Bug Reports forum. If you wish to join the Beta Program, you can sign up via Garmin Connect.
