BoAt has launched its Smart Ring in India, offering the first customers 55% off the ₹19,999 (~US$242) RRP. You can use the wearable to track health metrics such as your heart rate, skin temperature and SpO2 level. Other features include touch controls, activity tracking and an SOS alert tool.

The boAt Smart Ring has been launched in India. You can now buy the wearable via Amazon for the discounted price of ₹8,999 (~US$109), 55% off the ₹19,999 (~US$242) RRP. The same offer on the smart ring will be available via the boAt online store, though the product is currently listed as out of stock. You can ask the brand to notify you via text when your chosen size is back in stock.

As revealed earlier this month, the boAt Smart Ring can monitor your heart rate, sleep, body temperature, SpO2 level and body recovery. Activity tracking for sports like running, walking and cycling is offered, with health and exercise insights in an accompanying app. Other features include an emergency SOS alert tool and water resistance to 5 ATM.

The Smart Ring has up to seven days of battery life, fully recharging in around 90 minutes. Plus, you can use touch controls to scroll through content and control music. The wearable is made of ceramic and metal, available in sizes 7, 9 and 11, and weighs 7.9 g (~0.28 oz). It is unclear when boAt will stock the new wearable at its online store or how long the 55% discount will last.
