GameSir says a new controller with a PlayStation layout is coming

GameSir has a plethora of controllers, but most have an Xbox layout. However, according to a statement from the manufacturer, there's a new controller with a PlayStation layout on the way.
The evidence is a response to a post on X asking if it will ever make a controller with a PlayStation layout. GameSir's reply is that the person should “stay tuned for the new Tarantula (controller)”.
The Tarantula Pro is one of the few GameSir controllers with a PlayStation layout a.k.a symmetric thumbsticks. There's also the Tegenaria Lite (curr. available on Amazon for $15.99), but unlike the Tarantula which is wireless, it is a wired controller. The original Tarantula Pro was released in late 2024, but the controller got a color refresh last year.
There is no info regarding when the next generation Tarantula (Pro) controller will be released and what features it will have. However, we can expect it to come with newer features such as second-gen Mag-Res TMR sticks and a higher polling rate like the GameSir G7 Pro 8K Aimlabs Edition. We can also expect GameSir to ship with a charging dock similar to the one that is included with the G7 Pro.
