Deal | PowerA's Borderlands and Pac-Man special edition wireless controller for Xbox now $59.99 (40% off)

If you don't fancy the official Xbox wireless controller, there are plenty of options from third-party manufacturers. One such option is the PowerA Wireless Controller for Xbox Series X|S, and there isn't a better time to buy it than now that it is currently on sale.
The PowerA Wireless Controller for Xbox Series X|S is available in three special edition variants based on Fortnite, Borderlands, and PAC-MAN. For a limited time, all three variants, which originally cost $99.99 each have received a whopping 40% discount.
Interested buyers can grab either the Borderlands Special Edition or the PAC-MAN Special Edition for just $59.99 on Amazon. There's no discount on the Fortnite Special Edition on Amazon, but if that's the variant you want, you can purchase it for the same discounted $59.99 price on PowerA's website. With respect to their technical features, all three controllers are the same. However, the PAC-MAN edition glows in the dark and under UV light.
Regardless of the variant you purchase, you are getting an Xbox wireless controller with Hall Effect thumbsticks and Hall Effect triggers, with the latter sporting a three-way lock that allows users to adjust them to three different positions. Most controllers with a trigger lock only support a two-way lock. The PowerA Wireless Controller for Xbox Series X|S also features four programmable back buttons, multi-profile support, rubberized grips, and anti-friction rings.
The controller also boasts a 1,200mAh rechargeable battery that provides up to 30 hours of use on a single charge. While it can be charged via USB-C, the controller is also compatible with the charging dock that ships with the PowerA Fusion Pro wireless controller. Another feature of the controller is an audio jack and a dial for adjusting the volume.
The PowerA Wireless Controller for Xbox Series X|S connects wirelessly to the Xbox Series S|X via an included wireless dongle for a low-latency experience. It can also be used as a wired controller. PowerA also states that owners can use it with the Xbox One and devices running Windows 10/11.
The controller has mostly positive reviews on Amazon, but it is not without its flaws. Firstly, PowerA doesn't sell the wireless receiver separately, so if the included one gets lost or damaged, the only other solution is to use it as a wired controller.
A more important issue is that there are a few complaints about stick drift despite its use of Hall Effect thumbsticks. Hall Effect thumbsticks are generally better and shouldn't suffer from stick drifts like analog/potentiometer sticks, however, they are not immune to wear, although it shouldn't happen for years. One solution often suggested is for users to recalibrate the controller using the companion app.
