The GX06 is a new mini PC available for direct import and it not only comes with the very powerful, yet slightly outdated Intel Core i9-12900H CPU, but also with a dedicated graphics card. Namely an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050, which is an entry-level graphics card designed for light to moderate video gaming and video editing applications. 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB M.2 SSD are installed.
The GX06 borrows from Apple's Mac Mini in that it has a raised bottom for ventilation and there are also ventilation grilles on the sides. The model measures 203 x 203 millimeters and is 53 millimeters high. Ports range from one HDMI 2.1 port, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports to two Ethernet ports with Gigabit speed. Two separate jacks for microphone and headset are also on board. All ports and the power socket are located on the back and are completely absent from the front, presumably in order to give the mini PC a sleek and minimalist appearance. Wireless connectivity is supported in the form of Bluetooth 5.0 and WiFi 6. Lastly, the GX06 uses a 210 watt power supply.
The mini PC is available for direct import via Banggood for a price of $820. Shipping is free, but buyers should inform themselves about possible import fees. Customers in the US, for example, will likely have to pay a "simplified clearance" fee for orders over $800. Buyers should also keep in mind that this is a Chinese supplier and so it may be difficult, if not impossible, to enforce warranty rights in the event of a claim.
