Aoostar has yet to release the GEM 10 370, which was announced as the company's first offering featuring the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. That mini PC was announced in September, and before the year ends, the company has teased yet another compact computer that sports the same APU.
As the teaser image reveals, the AMD Strix Point APU inside this new mini PC can be set to 54W TDP, which should give the Radeon 890M iGPU inside enough power to smoothly handle modern AAA games at respectable visual settings. Of course, the system also sports an OCuLink port, enabling users to hook an eGPU to it for better gaming performance (GPD G1 available on Amazon).
Besides the OCuLink port, the new Aoostar mini PC comes with one USB4 port, further expanding the compatibility with eGPUs. There are other connectivity ports, and it seems that the system has a compact form factor. Even the design appears to be different from the other options from the brand.
The teaser image further confirms that the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 inside is paired with LPDDR5 RAM running at 8,000 MHz, higher than the usual 7,500 MHz RAM found in most of the mini PCs. It also reveals that the system has a VC cooling setup, WiFi 7, and dual SSD slots.
Regarding the price, the teaser image reveals that the configuration with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage will launch at CNY 5,299 (around $731). This is a more affordable price than what the GEM 10 370 is set to launch at, but the global launch price could be around $1,000, in the same range as the other Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 mini PCs launched in the international market.
