Aaeon introduces new industrial-grade mini PC with four LAN ports and dedicated Intel Arc graphics
Asus-owned Aaeon has revealed its latest offering in the industrial computing segment, the MXM-ACMA-PUC. Despite the tongue-twister of a name, the system is essentially in the form factor of a mini PC tailor-made for enterprise environments and boasts relatively powerful internals with discrete graphics.
The product is powered by 12th and 13th-generation Intel Core CPUs, with the primary version featuring the 35 W Core i7-13700TE with 16 cores and 24 threads and a boost clock of 4.8 GHz. The system can accommodate up to 64 GB of DDR5-4800 memory thanks to dual SO-DIMM slots. As mentioned earlier, the mini PC also sports discrete graphics, with the option for either an Intel Arc A370E or Arc A350E - both of which are targeted at industrial applications.
Moreover, the enterprise mini PC offers a plethora of expansion options, thanks to its M.2 2230, M.2 3052, PCIe x8, and M.2 2280 slots - the last one of which facilitates support for NVMe storage. The port selection is also generous and is in line with what can be expected from an enterprise solution - triple 2.5 GbE LAN ports, a single 1 GbE LAN port, HDMI 2.0, dual COM ports with RS-232/422/485, dual USB 3.2 Gen 3 ports, and four DisplayPort 1.4 ports courtesy of the MXM graphics module along with nano-SIM support.
