Over a year has passed since Rockstar released the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6). To date, the 90-second clip has been viewed almost 250 million times on YouTube alone. Given that Rockstar has committed to delivering its first triple-A game since Red Dead Redemption 2 (curr. $26.51 on Amazon) before the end of the year, it would seem high time that it revealed more details by way of a second trailer.
Currently, insider GTA VI O'Clock asserts that 'GTA 6 Trailer 2' will arrive in late March or April. In a recent newsletter, the insider explains this belief stems from two factors. On the one hand, Rockstar has started promotional campaigns roughly five or six months before the launch of its last two triple-A releases. On the other hand, they have interpreted a 'Fall 2025' launch as meaning October or November 2025.
To that end, other sources believe that Rockstar has left a clue about the release of GTA 6 Trailer 2 in GTA Online. As the screenshot below shows, people have returned to the 'One day will reveal all' t-shirt in GTA Online, which contained hints about when Rockstar planned to drop Trailer 1. This time, the repeating '040125' string has been interpreted to mean April 1, 2025, which falls in line with GTA VI O'Clock's expectations for Trailer 2. As always, we would recommend taking these inferences with a healthy amount of scepticism for now.
