For a limited time, you can grab Sony's open-world action-adventure title, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut, for 33% off on the sticker price. The critically acclaimed game, developed by Sucker Punch, was released in 2020 for the PlayStation 4. It made its way over to PCs in 2024.
You play as Jin Sakai, one of the last remaining members of his clan, waging war against a Mongol invasion of Tsushima island. The invaders have ruined nations in a bid to capture the East, and the island is all that stands between them and Japan.
The PC version comes with several quality-of-life improvements, including unlocked framerates, support for ultrawide and super ultrawide resolutions, and support for Nvidia's DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, and Intel XeSS.
Jin can use various stances in combat, and you will be flipping between them depending on the enemies you encounter. Like Sekiro, you must stagger or parry enemies to break their defense, leaving them open to attacks.
The boss fights in the game are presented like cinematic duels and test your parry and dodge skills. Like common enemies, they must be staggered before you can attack them.
The game's art direction is another strength. It has been lauded as one of the more 'immersive' open-world experiences with neat little touches like blowing wind acting as markers for your quests. There are interesting characters to find and talk to that flesh out the world more.
It's not perfect. The open world does feel a little empty or routine at times with your usual assortment of challenges and outposts to conquer, but the game makes up for it with fun combat and interesting side stories. The special offer ends on 13 March.
