Final Fantasy IV and more coming to Apple Arcade
Apple Arcade will soon get some epic quests.
Today, Apple announced the next slew of games coming to Apple Arcade, and Square Enix appears to be the headline developer this go around. The Japanese developer is bringing some of its most popular titles to Apple's gaming service, including the 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV and a version of Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster.
Other Square Enix titles coming to Apple Arcade include FF IV: The After Years+ and Trials of Mana+. While these games have been available on other platforms, these Apple Arcade variants include several features to make the games more accessible to all gamers, including increasing game speed, experience and gold earned from enemies, and more. Apple stated these titles also have updated graphics to make sure they look at home on iPads (like the iPad Mini with A17 Pro, available at Amazon for $499) and iPhones.
Other games coming to Apple Arcade include Boggle: Arcade Edition, PAC-MAN 256+, Hot Wheels: Race Off+, and Barbie Color Creations+, all of which are coming December 5. Final Fantasy IV (3D Remake)+ and FF IV: The After Years+ are landing on December 9. Lastly, Skate City: New York, Three Kingdoms HEROES, Final Fantasy+, Trials of Mana+, Rodeo Stampede+, and It's Literally Just Mowing+ are coming to the platform on January 9, 2025.
