Epic Games Store leak reveals nearly $300 worth of free game giveaway plans in December 2025
The Epic Games Store has just kicked off its first PC gaming giveaway of the festive season. A triple-A title, Hogwarts Legacy (curr. $32 on Amazon) is not the game that fans believed would mark the start of its latest Holiday Sale. Incidentally, this week's PC giveaway differs from its Android and iOS equivalent, full details of which we have covered separately.
Officially, Epic Games has only teased that it will be unlocking a new Mystery Game on December 8 at 16:00 UTC. However, it is already known that Mystery Game 2 will last a day until the same time on December 19. Now, a list of alleged Epic Games Store giveaway plans has emerged on Chinese social media.
For the time being, we cannot verify the authenticity of the image below. We have found evidence of the same games being mentioned across Chinese media, though. Thus, while we would not rule out the list, we would also recommend exercising a degree of caution for the time being.
It is also worth noting that some of these games have been free to claim before. For example, Epic Games gave away Jurassic World Evolution 2 just seven months ago. If accurate, then Epic Games' giveaways until the end of the year would retail for over $500. Taking into account current sales reduces this figure to $297.65 though, including Commander Keen, Terraria and Mortal Kombat 11 that are currently not available from Epic Games directly.
