The Epic Games Store has expanded upon its February game giveaways with Beyond Blue, a single-player adventure developed and published by E-Line Media. For context, Beyond Blue follows Undying in the storefront's free game program, which has now been supplemented by an equivalent for mobile games. To that end, Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee and Bloons TD remain available for $0.00 each on Android and iOS.
While Beyond Blue debuted on macOS, iOS and tvOS in April 2020, E-Line Media soon brought it to Windows, the PS4 and Xbox One a few months later before offering the game on the Nintendo Switch (curr. $279.99 on Amazon) over a year later. Please note that Epic Games' giveaway only applies to the Windows release, which is only second to the PS4 in Metacritic's cross-platform averages.
E-Line Media requires at least a copy of Windows 10 x64 and hardware like an AMD FX-6300 or Intel Core i5-4460 CPU and an AMD Radeon R9 270 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 730 GPU. Windows 11 is recommended though, as is a newer GPU like a GeForce RTX 2060 and a CPU that meets or exceeds the power of the Ryzen 7 2700X. Incidentally, 8 GB of RAM should be enough to run the game even at recommended graphics settings. Beyond Blue will be available to add to your Epic Games library from 16:00 UTC today until 15:59 UTC on February 13. Please see the Beyond Blue store listing for more redemption details.
