Set in a world torn apart by climate disasters and corporate chaos, Exoborne mixes fast-paced third-person action with strategic planning. You’ll explore dangerous environments solo or with a team, gather resources, and try to extract before your exosuit self-destructs within a 20 minute time-frame.
Here are some of the highlights:
Dynamic Weather Hazards: Face off against lightning storms, tornadoes, and dense fog. Some hazards even combine—like "fire tornadoes" that form when flames get sucked into a tornado.
High-Speed Movement: Grappling hooks and parachutes let you zip across the battlefield, launch skyward, or reposition during heated fights.
PVP and PVE Hotspots: Artifact zones attract both other players and NPC threats, including towering mechs.
Exosuit and Weapon Customization: Build your suit and loadouts to fit your playstyle, with modules that can even synergize with weather effects.
This isn’t just a sneak peek; it’s a chance to help shape the game. The developers are looking for player feedback and have made this playtest completely open for streaming and content creation—no NDA required.
The playtest will be live from February 12th to February 17th. Sign-ups are available on the Exoborne Steam page. For those who get in, Steam will send a notification letting you know. Didn’t make it? More playtests are planned for the future.
