Sony announced the PS5 Pro in September, and the new console will be available on November 7. With a retail price of $699.99, the mid-generation refresh brings more capable hardware than the regular PlayStation 5. During the introduction, Sony highlighted three big upgrades: AI-driven upscaling, advanced ray tracing, and a larger GPU.
With those, the new PlayStation 5 Pro is said to offer a much-improved gaming experience than its non-Pro sibling (Slim available on Amazon). Ahead of the release, YouTuber Gabriel Master has shared footage of multiple games running on the new console. According to them, the updated hardware can indeed offer a noticeable boost in performance
For example, the gameplay video of Dragon's Dogma 2 shows that the game runs better on the PS5 Pro. The same goes for Monster Hunter Wilds, which appears to run at a higher resolution with more stable FPS when compared to the base model.
