Eleglide Coozy e-scooter unveiled with 350 W motor and 55 km range

The Eleglide Coozy foldable electric scooter has been revealed. The company says it has opted for a minimal look to appeal to commuters, with a dark paint color and hidden wiring and kickstand. A 350 W engine powers the vehicle with a maximum output of 540 W and a top speed of 25 kph (~16 mph).

The electric scooter is equipped with a 450 Wh battery providing up to 55 km (~34 miles) of range on a single charge. The battery is housed in a waterproof, puncture proof and shock-resistant aluminum alloy casing for protection. A series of four lights, including a headlight, ensure you can see and be seen when riding.

Other safety features are a non-slip standing mat and reflectors, and an integrated LED shows real-time information such as your speed mode and battery level. Plus, 10-in pneumatic tires and front suspension ensure a comfortable ride while standing on the stable 19 cm (~7.5-in) wide board. A double braking system is fitted to the Coozy, with an E-ABS and rear disc brake. You can control the scooter via the LED or the Green Drive app, available with iOS 12.0 or Android 4.3 and above.

The scooter weighs 22.7 kg (~50.0 lbs) and measures 113 x 51 x 61 cm (~44 x 20 x 24-in) when folded, making it easier to transport. The Eleglide Coozy e-scooter will launch on August 23 for the discounted price of €549.99 (~US$559.03). From August 30, the electric vehicle will retail for €599.99 (US$609.85).
