The Wing Bikes Freedom ST electric bicycle has been launched. The pedelec is equipped with a 550 W motor which can assist you at speeds up to 22 mph (~35 kph) and supply up to 45 Nm of torque. The bike has mechanical disc brakes and a Shimano Tourney rear derailleur with 7-Speed 11-28T freewheel.
The e-bike is available with three different battery sizes: an 8.8 Ah offers up to 35 miles (~56 km) range, a mid-size 10.4 Ah power pack delivers up to 45 miles (~72 km) range, and the most powerful 14 Ah battery provides up to 60 miles (~97 km) range on a single charge. Each removable pack weighs 5 lbs (~2.3 kg) and takes around four hours to charge fully.
Other features of the Freedom ST include a built-in headlight, taillights and an anti-theft alarm system. Plus, the pedelec comes with a key fob which you can use to lock and unlock your device remotely. A built-in display shows you information such as your speed, assistance level and battery status. The bike has a 6061 aluminum frame and weighs around 39 lbs (~18 kg).
