The UltraTRX 2022 E2-Terminator electric bicycle will shortly begin crowdfunding on Indiegogo. The fat-tire e-bike features dual 1,450 W Bafang motors and two 30 A controllers, providing up to 200 Nm of torque to help you tackle steep inclines. Plus, the bicycle has a top speed of 40 mph (~64 kph).
The 2,640 Wh (60 A) battery provides up to 97 miles (~156 km) assistance range on a single charge. The E2-Terminator features a patent-pending solid state switching system to change between three batteries. The battery has the ThermoTRX Battery Protection System with heat strips to ensure it stays at an optimal temperature, extending its lifetime. The GenerTRX Power Generation System allows regenerative braking, adding up to 50% assistance range via trickle charging.
A rear rack and optional front rack allow you to carry bags on the bike easily; for example, you could carry solar panels, available at an additional cost, to recharge your bicycle on the go. The E2-Terminator is equipped with Ares double piston hydraulic disc brakes, with a full suspension 6061 alloy frame. The company claims it has used marine-grade stainless steel to prevent rusting.
The bicycle weighs 61 lbs (~28 kg) when equipped with one battery and can support payloads up to 400 lbs (~181 kg). The UltraTRX 2022 E2-Terminator e-bike retails for US$5,995. You can currently pre-order the bike with a refundable US$50 deposit, with the delivery of the vehicle expected this Fall.
