Diamant 365 e-bike launches weighing 17.5 kg with 60 km range
The Diamant 365 is a new urban e-bike from the German brand. The bicycle features a Hyena motor producing up to 40 Nm torque and a top assistance speed of 25 kph (~16 mph). A small remote on the handlebars lets you control the bike's settings and indicates the battery level and your chosen support mode. You can view more detailed information and compare journey statistics in the accompanying Hyena Rider Assistant Android and iOS apps.
A 250 Wh battery provides up to 60 km (~37 miles) range, with the option to add more batteries to extend the bike’s range. Diamant says that the battery is permanently installed to reduce its weight, housing it in the frame, so it’s out of sight. The cables are also hidden inside the Diamant 365’s frame for a clean look. The bike has a nine-speed Shimano gear lever; the 365 Deluxe model has a ten-speed gear shift from Shimano.
The standard bike’s aluminum frame is lightweight, weighing 17.5 kg (~38.6 lbs) and supporting loads up to 136 kg (~300 lbs). The Deluxe model weighs slightly more at 18.4 kg (~40.6 lbs). You can buy the Diamant 365 e-bike for €2,449 (~US$2,494), and the Diamant 365 Deluxe costs €2,649 (~US$2,697). The bikes are currently available in Germany and Austria. You can purchase the bike in various colors, including Ebony (black), Aventurine Red Metallic and Oxide Green Metallic, with high and low step-over models.
