The Blaupunkt Enno is a new Fat Folding e-bike with extra-wide 20-in tires for a comfortable ride. The bike folds in several places, with foldable pedals and handlebar, and a quick-release mechanism to help unfold it easily.
The bike measures 1,000 x 500 x 750 mm (~39.4 x 19.7 x 29.5-in) when folded, and 1,750 x 700 x 1,100 mm (~68.9 x 27.6 x 43.3-in) when unfolded. A rear-mounted Shengyi motor can assist you at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph) across five modes, with 55 Nm of torque. A detachable 36 V lithium-ion battery provides up to 80 km (~50 miles) range, and recharges fully in 7.5 hours or to 80% in around 6 hours.
You can also opt for an additional battery to enhance the bike’s range. The e-bike has a seven-speed Shimano gearshift and Tektro disc brakes at the front and rear of the bike. The combined e-bike and battery weigh 32 kg (~71 lbs) and can support a maximum payload of 110 kg (~243 lbs). The pedelec has LED lights at the front and rear, with two luggage racks.
An LCD shows you information about the bike and your ride, such as battery charge and speed. You can buy the Blaupunkt Enno e-bike in Germany for €1,899 (~US$2,006). It is unclear whether or when the pedelec could be available in other markets.
