It looks like the launch of the Mavic 4 Pro may finally be approaching. Although there have been rumours of another launch delay, a well-known leaker has published over a dozen new photos showcasing DJI's next high-end consumer drone and how it differs from the Mavic 3 Pro.

Igor Bogdanov has delivered the most substantial Mavic 4 Pro leak to date, following recent suggestions that the drone's release had been delayed once again. Ultimately, the official arrival of the Mavic 3 Pro (curr. $2,799 on Amazon) successor remains unclear for now. In the meantime, Bogdanov's latest leak arguably provides the best look yet at DJI's long-awaited fourth-generation Mavic drone.

For example, the top, bottom and sides of the Mavic 4 Pro can be clearly made out for the first time. As far as we can tell, the Mavic 4 Pro has three two additional sensors, which should work in tandem with LiDAR to improve the drone's omnidirectional obstacle avoidance capabilities compared to its predecessor. By the looks of things, this LIDAR sensor sits in the Mavic 4 Pro's front-left arm when looking directly at it.

Also, Bogdanov has provided a look at the full extent of DJI's Fly More and Creator Combo packages. Pictured below, each package contains three batteries, spare propellers, a carry bag and charging accessories. On top of that, DJI will bundle a charging hub, gimbal and propeller protectors, plus a dedicated controller. Ultimately, it seems that DJI will only distinguish the two packages by its RC 2 and RC Pro 2 controllers.

Nonetheless, the latter is expected to retail for over $1,200 more than the former. The same leaker has highlighted DJI's Cellular Dongle 3 and ND Filters, too. Seemingly, these will both be additional accessories and will not be included in any of DJI's traditional packages. The latter appears to put to bed the notion that the Mavic 4 Pro will ship with electronic ND filter support too; apparently, DJI removed support for this relatively late in the development process. As it stands, the Mavic 4 Pro is anticipated to ship this spring at the following price points:

  • Mavic 4 Pro (RC 2) - $2,250/€2,099/£1,879
  • Mavic 4 Pro Fly More Combo (RC 2/2x Intelligent Flight batteries) - $3,200/€2,699/£2,549
  • Mavic 4 Pro Creator Combo (RC Pro 2/2x Intelligent Flight batteries/512 GB built-in store) - $4,440/€3,539/£3,209
