The pieces are falling into place regarding the launch of DJI's long-awaited Mavic 3 Pro (curr. $2,199 on Amazon) successor. Officially, DJI has not revealed anything yet about the prospect of introducing a new Mavic series drone. Nonetheless, there is an increasing amount of evidence that the Mavic 4 Pro will be the company's next consumer drone release.
To recap, Igor Bogdanov shared images of the Mavic 4 Pro with its new RC Pro 2 remote controller as part of its rumoured Creator Combo bundle. Now, leaker OsitaLV has shared a new hands-on picture of the same drone, which we have embedded below. On top of that, the same leaker has tweeted a separate image of the drone being used with an RC 2 remote controller, presumably using beta firmware.
While not necessarily noteworthy in of themselves, Igor Bogdanov subsequently published a short video showcasing the Mavic 4 Pro in-flight. Seemingly, the same video provides a few seconds of footage taken with the Mavic 4 Pro directly too. Although we would not make much of this video given X's high compression, we suspect it will be the beginning of leaks like this before the Mavic 4 Pro's launch later this month. Currently, the drone is anticipated to arrive on April 24 starting at $2,250. If that is the case, then an official teaser should land a week earlier on April 17.
