This week was slated to be when DJI would start officially teasing the long-awaited Mavic 4 Pro. To recap, the company was rumoured to be revealing a launch event on April 17, which would follow a week later. While there were suggestions that this release window had slipped, a typically reliable leaker of all things drone insisted that this was not the case.
However, Jasper Ellens states in a fresh report that the Mavic 4 Pro will not be launching on April 24 after all. Instead, the Mavic 3 Pro (curr. $2,199 on Amazon) successor is now not expected to debut until May 13 at the earliest. Launch pricing starting at $2,250 apparently remains unchanged, though.
Meanwhile, a TikToker has been spotted posting a short video unboxing the Mavic 4 Pro for the first time. Not only that, but Matheo Leo also showcases the drone close-up and in-flight. Embedded below, the video provides a brief look at footage during a 360-degree roll, too. While the Mavic 4 Pro is expected to launch alongside a new RC Pro 2 controller, only the existing RC 2 remote controller can be seen below.
