Cybertruck spy video reveals the interface with suspension, tonneau cover, and liftgate controls from the cabin

While a recent encounter with a chatty Tesla Cybertruck test driver confirmed that the frunk will be powered and automatic at both opening and closing, it also hinted that "UI will be the best part," in the words of the employee. Unfortunately, they had it covered according to Tesla requirements so as to prevent leaks and spy shots.

Not just spy shot, but a spy interior walkaround video happened after another employee apparently left the Cybertruck unlocked and topping up at a Supercharger. Besides the usual exterior footage that has been posted many times, the interior video managed to record the Cybertruck's user interface in action on both the big front and the smaller rear displays.

There, amidst the charging limit and rate, the Cybertruck's rich suite of cabin control features is clearly visible. It turns out that the Cybertruck driver and passengers will be able to open and close the automatic tonneau cover and liftgate from the cabin as well, in addition to the physical buttons situated around the truck bed.

The Cybertruck inteface also shows the gigawiper sprinkler icon, as well as evident air suspension control points for lifting it up to its full 14-inch height for maximum ground clearance. The rear display seemingly shows the individual AC controls, while the rear seats were lifted, with the interior cover tarp that is supposed to prevent leaks like these draped at the bottom of the cabin.

Elon Musk is expected to take the stage at the Gigafactory in Texas on November 30 to announce the release and first deliveries of the Cybertruck, along with its price and full specs list. There, the Cybertruck's UI may be showcased at length but until then one can feast their eyes on the leaked footage of the touchscreen cabin controls on display.
