Cybertruck automatic park-to-ride height suspension lift and start illumination pattern caught on camera
A recently leaked Cybertruck interior video caught a good overview of the cabin controls' interface and all height modes of its suspension. At full lift, the Cybertruck's air suspension is tipped to have a 14-inch travel from its lowest point. The interface in the electric pickup's cabin showed three suspension height modes - Entry, Low, and High - reiterating a tip that the Cybertruck will be automatically lowered when put in park to facilitate entry and exit.
Thanks to a new video of the Cybertruck in the wild, the automatic switch between the Entry and Low suspension height modes has been confirmed. In it, Tesla's driver gets into their Cybertruck and "starts" it which results in a near immediate suspension lift, most likely to the road ride height that Tesla marks as "Low" in the Cybertruck's interface and which actually brings its clearance to the roadworthy medium height level.
Alternatively, when the driver or passengers need to get out in park mode, the suspension goes down to the aptly named "Entry" level, while the "High" mode is for off-road shenanigans like The Cybertruck's attack of the infamous steps challenge at the Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreation Area south of San Jose.
Together with the suspension lift to ride height, the Cybertruck "start" also initiates a funky illumination pattern with the help of the front lightbar, and it may be the first time someone has witnessed this trademark Cybertruck start sequence in action during nighttime spotting.
