Volkswagen has announced the pricing for the ID.7 EV in the UK. The top-of-the-range model, which debuted globally earlier this year, has an on-the-road (OTR) price starting from £55,570. The ID.7 Pro Launch Edition features DC fast charging 175kW and a 77kWh battery for an estimated 384-mile (~618-km) range.

In 2024, a larger power pack with a 430-mile (~692 km) range and a maximum charging power of 200kW will arrive for the ID.7. An APP550 drive unit delivers 210 kW power and an acceleration time of around seven seconds from 0 to 62 mph (~100 kph). Other tools include Travel Assist for assisted lane changing at speeds above 56 mph (~90 kph), automatic parking, a head-up display and a 15-in (~38 cm) infotainment display.

Those who purchase the Volkswagen ID.7 in the UK are offered a free gift. The options include a 7 kW Ohme Home Pro charger (five-metre tethered cable), a 7 kW ePod charger (untethered), or £750 charging credit from We Charge by Elli, valid for up to three years. Those who wish to purchase on finance are also presented with a £3,000 contribution on a deposit for a 4.9% personal contract plan (PCP) from Volkswagen Financial Services. These offers on the Volkswagen ID.7 in the UK run until January 2, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin in January. The electric vehicle is expected to land in the US at some point in 2024, with pricing yet to be disclosed.
