Cybertruck interface playground launches for test driving Tesla's new real-time interactive UI

Tesla's Cybertruck UI is its "best part," according to one chatty team member driving a Release Candidate a few weeks back, and the electric pickup's interface is rather unique indeed. Tesla installed a big 18-inch central console display as a single point of cabin control for all Cybertruck features and functions, including setting the ride height, closing the Powergate frunk, or opening the tonneau cover.

On it, the interface start screen now displays a 3D render of the Cybertruck that can be manipulated with the touch screen to reach said tonneau, frunk, or air suspenion sections, and interact with them directly from the Cybertruck image. The state of Tesla's first electric pickup on the picture changes in real time with each tap, too, as the 3D rendered image's windows go half down, its front lights up, or its tonneau cover opens and closes, depending on what is going on with the Cybertruck in real life.

For those who'd want to play around with the new Cybertruck interface, graphics designer Andrew Goodlad has recreated it to a significant extent over at Figma's web interface design app. From the start screen to all the submenus, down to the Outlets and Mods power distribution section, one can preview all the Cybertruck interior has to offer in terms of cabin controls.

The Cybertruck interior UI mockup is a work in progress and more things will be added as more imagery and functionalities become available from Cybertruck reviews and interface videos.

Even at this initial stage, however, it is a fun playground for future Cybertruck owners to get acquainted with their new pickup's UI commands and controls, as well as for the general public to get a taste of Tesla's new interface design.
