Citizen extends Endeavor series to more markets, US models get large discounts

On New Year's Day of this year, Citizen unveiled two Endeavour Chrono watches in the US. More than nine months later, the lineup has now made its way to the UK, along with a third model. The CA4730-08E, CA4733-00L and CA4730-59A all feature 43mm stainless-steel cases, Citizen’s Eco-Drive light-powered movement, sapphire crystals, ceramic-insert rotating bezels and 100-meter water resistance. Each also provides a 1/5-second chronograph capable of timing up to 60 minutes, alongside a date display and 12/24-hour indication.
The identical hardware of all three models means their differing designs target different tastes. The CA4730-08E has a silver-tone case, black polyurethane strap and black wave-textured dial with yellow accents, giving it the most overtly sporty appearance. The CA4733-00L combines a rose gold-tone case with a blue strap and matching blue dial.
The CA4730-59A takes a more conventional route, pairing a silver-tone case with a stainless-steel bracelet and a light-colored dial featuring contrasting chronograph registers. Its bracelet uses a folding clasp with push buttons, while the other two models use polyurethane straps. All three retain the scalloped 60-minute bezel, although the design is more suited to general elapsed-time measurement and recreational water use than dedicated professional diving. The Caliber B620 also gives the chronograph seconds hand a five-beat-per-second sweep, while its timing function is limited to one hour.
In the UK, the CA4730-08E costs £429, while the CA4733-00L and CA4730-59A are priced at £449. In the US, Citizen has given all three Endeavor Chrono models sizeable discounts at $476, $500 and $520, respectively.
