Hamilton turns Captain Price’s Modern Warfare 4 watch into a real 38 mm Khaki Field Mechanical

Hamilton has unveiled another Call of Duty-themed Khaki Field, this time putting Captain Price's wristwatch from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 into production. The new Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm Call of Duty Special Edition, reference H69469930, is scheduled to go on sale on October 23. Unlike last year's Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 collaboration, which used the automatic H-10 movement, the new model is based on Hamilton's hand-wound H-50 Khaki Field Mechanical.

It has a Nivachron balance spring, hacking seconds and an 80-hour power reserve. The caseback itself carries a soundwave motif taken from Modern Warfare 4, along with Hamilton and Call of Duty branding. A khaki-green textile strap and black PVD steel buckle complete the package. Its stainless-steel case measures 38 mm across and 9.5 mm thick, with a sandblasted black PVD coating intended to match the military aesthetic associated with Captain Price. The case also measures 47 mm lug-to-lug and uses a 20 mm lug width.

Hamilton has given the black dial a heavily grained finish, while the four o'clock numeral uses typography derived from the "4" in Modern Warfare 4. Super-LumiNova X2 is applied to the hands, numerals and hour markers. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the watch and carries a relatively modest 5 ATM, or 50 metres, of water resistance.

The Captain Price connection is also apparent with the packaging. The watch ships in a special leather presentation case modelled after a traditional cigar case, another nod to the character. The Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical Call of Duty Special Edition will launch alongside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Pricing is set at $795 in the US, €750 in Europe, and CHF 675 in Switzerland. Lastly, Hamilton's Japanese distributor lists it at ¥121,000.
