Citizen debuts four new Promaster Marine divers with fresh colors and a new Eco-Drive Caliber E118

Citizen is expanding its diverse dive watch catalog with four new Promaster Marine watches. The new lineup joins the Promaster Wave Tracker yacht timers that arrived in May and makes a solid case for a versatile diver’s watch with a more compact case, improved Eco-Drive efficiency, and a soft PU strap.
The collection includes four colorways: The Citizen Promaster BN0265-00A features a crisp white dial with a black bezel and an olive green band. The BN0266-07E has a black dial, bezel, and matching band. For a fun pop of color, the BN0268-01E boasts a bold orange band and bezel alongside a black dial. Finally, the BN0267-04L offers a classic navy blue band, a matching bezel, and a striking blue gradient dial.
All four watches share the same classic design and are identical in terms of features and functionality. That means no matter which model you pick, you'll get a unidirectional bezel, up to 200 meters of water resistance, Type 1 magnetic resistance, and a date window at the 3 o'clock position.
At 40.6mm, the stainless steel case offers a good wrist presence without feeling oversized, while the 11.7mm thickness should help the watch easily slip right under a shirt sleeve. The watches tip the scale at 86g and come fitted with a smooth urethane band made from BENEBiOL, a highly durable, plant-derived material made by the Mitsubishi Chemical Group—featured also on the Promaster Wave Tracker JV3000-13E and limited-edition EO2023-00W Promaster Dive.
The latest Promaster Marine series is powered by the all-new Eco-Drive Caliber E118 movement, which maintains an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month. The updated solar-powered caliber bumps battery life from six months to roughly one year on a full charge. Additionally, its energy efficiency allows Citizen to use even more vibrant colors on the dials than before.
The new Promaster Marine series officially launches in Japan on July 16 for ¥69,300 (roughly $426). The lineup is expected to eventually make its way to the US and other global markets, but there is no official word on exact launch dates or international pricing yet.
