Citizen launches two new Tsuyosa 60 automatics with sapphire glass and Guilloché patterns

Citizen's Tsuyosa has become one of the brand's most consistent sellers since its debut. The line gets you affordable automatics with sapphire crystals, exhibition case backs, and integrated bracelet that nearly always punch well above its price point. The Tsuyosa 60 generation, which arrived globally last September with the upgraded Cal.8310 and a 60-hour power reserve, continues to grow. Citizen Hong Kong has now added two new references: the NK0022-50A and NK0030-51X.
Both feature guilloché-patterned dials. It's a decorative engine-turned texture that adds visual depth without relying on color. The NK0022-50A takes the larger 40 mm case in gold-plated stainless steel with a white guilloché dial and gold-tone bracelet, priced at HK$4,380 (~$558). The NK0030-51X is more interesting from a sizing perspective — it comes in at 37 mm with an 11.5 mm thickness, making it one of the slimmer and smaller Tsuyosa options to date, with a teal guilloché dial on a silver-tone bracelet at HK$3,980 (~$507).
Both run the Cal.8310 automatic with a 60-hour power reserve, hacking function, and a transparent case back. The sapphire crystal, date display, 5-bar water resistance, and stainless-steel bracelet are consistent across the pair.
The 37 mm NK0030-51X fills a gap that's been missing from the Tsuyosa lineup for a while. Most references in the family sit at 40 mm, which are okay for many but leaves out anyone who prefers a slightly more compact design. At HK$3,980 — roughly $507 at current exchange rates — it's also the more accessible of the two.
Both are currently listed as new on the Citizen Hong Kong site. Global availability hasn't been confirmed yet.
