Citizen announces fourth Series 8 automatic watch with anti-magnetic Caliber 9051 and sapphire glass

Following the initial announcement of the downsized Series 8 collection in Japan, Citizen Europe has confirmed a fourth variant (courtesy of @plus9time's reporting), the NB6084-50A. This new model is joining the pistachio green, yellow-gold, and forged carbon references previously covered. This effectively completes the first global rollout of the 39.3 mm architecture. The NB6084-50A has a two-tone execution. It pairs a brushed stainless steel case with yellow gold-colored plating on the bezel and bracelet center links. Like its counterparts, the case is only 10.4 mm thick.
The dial here also features the series' new signature textured pattern - a traditional Japanese checkered motif with an interpretation of the skyline in Tokyo. This specific reference uses a white dial base accented by golden hands and indices to match the two-tone exterior. The face is protected by a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating for added visibility. While the standard models are more about single-tone or full-gold finishes, the NB6084-50A looks to be more of a traditional dress-sport hybrid within the lineup.
Mechanically, the watch is powered by the Caliber 9051, an automatic movement featuring a frequency of 28,800 vph (4Hz) and a 42-hour power reserve. The movement is specifically engineered for high magnetic resistance (16,000 A/m). Thanks to this, the watch (and other watches in this series) can maintain an accuracy of −10 to +20 seconds per day even when exposed to everyday electronic devices. Scheduled for a March 2026 release, the NB6084-50A has a projected retail price of $1,350 USD - this places it between the standard steel and the full-gold plated references.
