The Chizha Mount Ling Dock is a new docking station for gaming handhelds that sports a touchscreen, a display connector and multiple USB ports, among other features. It also comes with a fan for active cooling.
A new docking solution for gaming handhelds is currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter. Backers should receive a unit in return for a contribution of at least $109. Deliveries are scheduled to start in January 2026. The usual financial risks associated with crowdfunding campaigns apply, and prospective buyers should also check the shipping terms carefully.
Dockcase's new accessory is specifically designed for the Steam Deck, but since it uses a regular USB connection, it should also be compatible with other gaming handhelds. The Chizha Mount Ling Dock is equipped with a 3-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 170 x 560 pixels, which can display info on the video output and control the active fan, which is supposed to improve cooling. The 40mm fan should be relatively quiet at 28dBA.
This new Steam deck docking station also has an HDMI 2.0 port that can output 4K at 60Hz. An Ethernet port is built-in and can be used to connect to wired networks. A full-sized M.2 2280 SSD can be installed as well.
Furthermore, Dockcase offers USB PD with an output of up to 100 watts. Two USB Type-A ports are available, one of the ports has a bandwidth of 10Gbps. Accessories like a mouse or keyboard can be hooked up via USB 2.0, and optical audio output is also onboard. Various comparable docking stations can be found on Amazon, although many don’t come with a display and fan.

I have been active as a journalist for over 10 years, most of it in the field of technology. I worked for Tom’s Hardware and ComputerBase, among others, and have been working for Notebookcheck since 2017. My current focus is particularly on mini PCs and single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi – so in other words, compact systems with a lot of potential. In addition, I have a soft spot for all kinds of wearables, especially smartwatches. My main profession is as a laboratory engineer, which is why neither scientific contexts nor the interpretation of complex measurements are foreign to me.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
