Baseus has launched a version of the Nomos NU1 Air Spacemate 12-in-1 Docking Station. The latest iteration of this desktop accessory has improvements for Mac users.
The Nomos NU1 Air Spacemate 12-in-1 Docking Station can be used to connect one or two monitors. There are two HDMI ports and two DisplayPorts, each supporting an up to 4K@60Hz resolution. When two displays are connected simultaneously, each supports a 1440p resolution. The company notes that macOS users will be able to display different content on each of their three screens with the new model, while the older version was limited to showing the same on the two external screens.
Baseus’ Nomos NU1 has six ports, which can be used to power peripherals or for data transfers. These include two USB-C ports with a 10 Gbps data transfer rate, two USB-A ports with a 5 Gbps rate, and two further USB-A ports with a 480 Mbps rate. There is also a Gigabit Ethernet port. It is powered via a 100W USB-C input and comes with a 2.6 ft (~0.8 m) long USB-C cable to connect to the host device, offering an up to 95W output. Plus, the button on top of the device can be used to switch off the connected monitors or to activate power saving mode.
It is marketed as compatible with macOS (M1/M2/M3), Windows, Vista and Linux operating systems. Cuboid in shape, it has a dark gray metallic finish; the company has yet to confirm the measurements of this model.
