The LG 34GX90SA-W is now on sale for less than half price during Amazon’s Prime Big Deals Day, with a 51% discount. This ultrawide WOLED monitor combines competitive gaming features like a 240Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time with smart TV functions and native GeForce Now support.

The UltraGear 34GX90SA-W is one of several ultrawide OLED gaming monitors LG has launched this year. Originally priced at $1,399.99 when it debuted in April, it’s now down to an all-time low of $691.42, thanks to an Amazon Prime Big Deals Day offer that slashes more than half off its list price.

At this price, the 34GX90SA-W stands out as the most affordable ultrawide OLED monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, making it a great pick for gamers looking to ascend to the ultrawide race without breaking the bank. Just note that this deal requires an Amazon Prime membership. Non-Prime members can still get one for $706.42, which is a little over half off its original list price.

There is no shortage of ultrawide gaming monitors, but the UltraGear 34GX90SA-W stands out from the crowd with its smart TV functionality. Users can use it as a regular monitor or switch to the built-in webOS platform to stream movies and shows from popular apps like Netflix and Prime Video. Even better, it supports cloud gaming too, so those without a console or powerful gaming PC can still jump into the action through services like Nvidia GeForce Now and Amazon Luna.

On top of that, the 34GX90SA-W features a brilliant WOLED panel with a 3440 x 1440 resolution and 98.5% DCI-P3 color coverage. It has 275 nits peak SDR brightness but can reach up to 1,300 nits (APL 1.5%) in HDR, so highlights and colors are going to pop more against the inky blacks. While it may not be quite as vibrant as the QD-OLED panels from the likes of Samsung, movies and games are still going to look stunning, especially compared with standard IPS ultrawide monitors.

As for gaming, the monitor delivers silky-smooth visuals with its 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms response time, and support for both FreeSync Premium and G-Sync VRR. It also includes handy gaming features like an FPS counter and Black Stabilizer to improve visibility in darker scenes. Connectivity is equally well-rounded, offering HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB-C port with 65W charging, Ethernet, a 3.5 mm jack, and USB-A ports. The main drawback of this monitor has been its steep price, so this deal should make it a lot more appealing.
