Epic Games Store reveals free games lineup to celebrate Halloween 2025 with two acclaimed titles
The Epic Games Store has just kicked off a new game giveaway. As we have covered separately, this week's free game is available on macOS and Windows. Described as a horror adventure game by its developers, this week's freebie can be claimed until the night before Halloween.
Once that deal expires, one will be able to claim two new games with a horror tinge to them. Announced ahead of time, Epic Games has decided to end October by giving away Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit, which it will complement with Bendy and the Ink Machine (curr. $29.99 on Amazon). Both acclaimed titles, the pair currently cost $19.99 each on Steam, where they maintain Overwhelmingly Positive and Very Positive reviews, respectively.
Meanwhile, Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit averages 83/100 on OpenCritic and 87/100 on Metacritic. By contrast, Bendy and the Ink Machine only achieves 69/100 and 71/100 across the same review aggregators, respectively. Bendy and the Ink Machine and Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit will be available to claim from the Epic Games Store on PC from 15:00 UTC on October 30 until the same time on November 6.
