Casio releasing two new sapphire blue watches in the US

Casio has confirmed that the recently unveiled G-Shock GMWB5000SB-1A2 and MRGB5000SA-2 watches will be released in the US before the end of 2026. Officially revealed in the brand’s home market of Japan on October 1st, these sapphire blue colored watches have designs based on a “Gem Accents” theme.
On the Casio US website, the G-Shock Full Metal GMWB5000SB-1A2 watch is said to be “coming late November”. While the company has yet to announce a specific release date for this market, prospective customers can sign up for email alerts using the ‘Notify me’ button on the product page. The listing also states that the 5000 series watch will retail for $770 in the US.
Similarly, the G-Shock Mr-G 30th Anniversary Super Blue MRGB5000SA-2 watch is listed as a late November release. Again, you can sign up for stock alerts via email on the Casio US website. In this market, the MRG-B5000 Series watch will sell for $6,600. It is also worth noting that only 500 units will be available worldwide.
Both the Casio GMWB5000SB-1A2 and MRGB5000SA-2 watches have blue and black color schemes with metal bezels, though the latter uses more premium materials like titanium and sapphire crystal. The two digital models have similar features, including radio control, Bluetooth connectivity and Tough Solar charging. These sapphire blue Casio G-Shock watches are also expected to be released in European countries like the UK in November 2026.
