Casio's new Pro Trek PRW-69YT debuts with titanium band, triple-sensor tech, preorders open

Casio has just put a titanium bracelet on the Pro Trek PRW-69. Thanks to that, it now costs more than twice as much as the version we covered in March. The PRW-69YT-7JF is listed on Casio Japan at ¥104,500 including tax, which is about $663, and pre-orders are open ahead of an October release.
For context, the PRW-69Y-1JF that launched in April has a ¥48,400 recommended price. The bracelet accounts for the whole difference, and for a fair bit of weight too. The resin-band model weighs 73 grams. This one is 117.
The bracelet is all the reason to care here, though. It's titanium, finished with a mix of hairline brushing and mirror polishing, and it closes on a one-push triple-folding clasp with a double lock. There's a slide adjustment with up to 6 mm of travel, which Casio pitches as a way to get the watch on over an inner glove without resizing it. The band and the forged bezel both get a titanium carbide coating for scratch resistance.
Everything else is the same from the Climber Line models. The case is the same 52.5 × 46.4 × 13.8 mm, built from stainless steel and biomass resin, with sapphire glass that has an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. Water resistance is 100 m and the watch is rated to −10°C.
The sensor suite is Casio's Triple Sensor. The altimeter reads −700 to 10,000 m, the barometer covers 260 to 1,100 hPa with a 42-hour graph, and the thermometer runs −10 to 60°C. The duplex LCD lays compass graphics over the main display.
Power is Tough Solar, good for roughly six months on a full charge or 26 in power saving, and Multiband 6 handles radio time sync across Japan, North America, Europe and China.
